Roman specialises in commercial and public law.
Roman was a Senior Associate at Minter Ellison where he was involved in a broad range of general commercial litigation, building and construction, insurance, and property related disputes. In this role, Roman acted in large scale Supreme Court litigation (including group proceedings) as well as in adjudications, expert determinations, mediations and arbitrations (both domestic and international).
Since coming to the Bar, Roman has regularly appeared in all Victorian Courts and in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. He has been briefed to advise and appear in complex contractual disputes, partnerships, property, corporations, trusts and professional liability and negligence matters. Roman has particular expertise advising and appearing in construction and engineering litigation. He has conducted trial and appellate hearings unled.
In 2015, Roman was also a Sessional Teaching Staff Member in Torts Law at Monash University.
